Elder Care in Columbus, Ohio

My name is Shahrzad and I am entering my last semester at OSU as a pre-law, Psychology major with a Human Rights minor. After watching three of my grandparents suffer from dementia, I became extremely interested and passionate about senior care. This summer I am taking care of my father's parents (my grandpa who is 92, and my grandma who is 87) during the weekdays. I also care for an elder woman who is 95 on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Currently, some of the services I am responsible for include meal preparation, medication management, assistance with bathing/using the bathroom, general housekeeping (laundry, light cleaning, dishes, etc.), and companionship. I am interested in expanding my care to others' loved ones who may need assistance during weekends or weekday evenings, as I am a college student who has classes during the weekdays.
