Description of Skills: I have over 4 years experience providing elder care and dementia care. I can provide companionship, establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationship with client and family members, assist with activities of daily living, plan and engage in social activities, escort to and from appointments, follow CDC's guidelines for infection control, light housekeeping and laundry, provide meal planning and preparation assist with ambulation/transfers, observe and report changes in client's mental, physical and emotional well-being and provide support with intellectual and physical disabilities. I am looking for a job where I will be able to provide companionship and care for elders. I enjoy having a one on one interaction with them, listening to and learning about their life history, arranging and taking them to social activities such as visiting museums, parks, and botanical gardens, going to senior centers, helping to maintain their lifestyle, and allowing them to be able to connect with friends and other family members.
