My name is Tanner Jeffryes and I have lived in the Roaring Fork Valley for my entire life. I gained the vast majority of my skills at Mountain Valley Developmental Services where I would go on to work For 6 years across 4 county’s In 16 facilities earning accredited credentials and certifications in Medication Administration, Behavioral Health, The Mandt System, Personal Care, Healthy Boundaries, Safety Care, Budgeting and Finance, Diabetic Care, Dementia and Alzheimer’s care, G-Tube dependent nutrition, Dysphagia Diets, wound care, Pre and Post Operative Care, Emergency Medical Intervention, Nationally Recognized First-Aid, Infant, child and adult CPR Techniques, The Heimlich Maneuver, Vital Sign Monitoring, Emergency Medication Intervention Protocol, Breathing Protocols, Physical Therapy Protocols, Behavioral Protocols, Health Appointment Scheduling, Detailed, Daily Progress Reporting, Drug Diversion Detection, Transportation, Overnight Supervision, Transfer Technique, Emergency Evacuation Plans, Crisis Intervention and Deescalation, Activity Coordination, American Sign Language and Job Coaching. During my tenure at MVDS I met my partner Jeremy👨‍❤️‍👨 we just celebrated 5 years together and are two years into buying our first home. We have a dog named Roxie and a vacation fund 😁. When I’m not working in healthcare you can find me volunteering as a Uniformed Wilderness Ranger with the USDA Forest Service or on South Beach with my sunglasses on and my feet in the sand💅🏼. I was also fortunate enough to have a mother who taught me her skill set from a young age which was Business Administration specifically in the petroleum industry. I went on to serve as the General Manager of the AABC ConocoPhillips providing general oversight and guidance of the 12M asset and after it’s successful 9.3M sale I was recruited by the partners who bought the Woody Creek Station. I supervised the installation of new under ground storage tanks, negotiated rebranding with Sinclair, worked with PR firms to revitalize what was a slow and low volume business into what it is today, a 14.2M asset. Now days I am happy to report I’m no longer working 70 hour weeks or juggling 10 employees, I’m enjoying a low key part time position as a Senior Beauty Advisor and looking to provide private healthcare services.
