I have been caring for family members since I was 13 yrs old, as my step dad had a bad accident at work an fell 45ft I took care of him till I was 21. Then I had to move back home to care for his father a stroke patient he could only say 1 word, and had to be fed through a peck tube, until he passed away. Then I took care of an elderly man x st Bernard police officer with stage 4 colon cancer, an x Co workers grandpa, for 4 yrs so I also know bowel care. And now that my 2 kids are grown and gone to make their lives. I'm in search of helping someone else. I was caring for 2 elderly women in Marrero. I'm a live in care giver, Or just as needed. But I am well versed in health care for persons in need. I've always been a hard worker, being a single mom. I have even just helped out friends with recovery after surgery. I've been a dump truck driver, tree climber/cutter, landscaping, roofer, plumber etc. During my child rearing days but now I'm getting were I'd rather not be in the weather, im in my mid 40s now. As you can see I'm not scared to apply myself. I grew up on a dairy farm north Louisiana so I'm very good with animals and plants as well. And housework is a must I can not just let dishes sit in the sink unwashed, clothes, etc. I have multiple backgrounds, being a single mom it goes that way.
