Job Description: Attending the patient’s personal needs and ensuring that they are clean, dry and comfortable. Bathing/ sponging and assisting patients in their daily toileting needs. Performing daily bed making and changing bed-linen as and when necessary. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the whole ward. Assisting patients to walk around the ward and within the home premises. Performing passive exercise to patients who need it. (i.e. bed ridden). Preparing the patients for their meal and feeding those who need assistance. Cleaning up the patient’s every after meal. Assisting/attending to emergencies as when and necessary. Accompanying the residents to their medical appointments ‘. Conduct meaningful and recreational activities for residents .
