I have been a CNA for over 20 years. I just love to take care of people. I am "there" for them in anyway I can. I have patience and understanding, also. I like to make them comfortable in any way I can. Once I get my patients cleaned up in the am, and they have had their breakfast, this is when we discuss our activities of the day. I like to have my patients not be under too much stress, so we try to keep busy., and have naps in the early afternoon to relax and get rest before dinner. In the evenings after dinner, is time to start winding down for the night that is to come.
