My name is Mely and I have been caring for senior citizens for 4 years now. My love for the elderly started at a young age. At around 8 years old I started visiting several nursing homes with a group called Compassionate Chorale and would sing to them and keep them company. I have experience with those who have Parkinson's disease, Dementia, Alzheimers, Diabetes, Strokes, Cancer, and physically handicapped. I enjoy caring for them because it makes me feel like I am making a difference in their life. In previous jobs I have cooked meals, showered them, done laundry, and cleaned when needed.
