Hi, I'm Shannen and I am a recent paramedic graduate that has experience as an elderly care provider. I am from Saskatoon, SK and am now residing in Calgary, AB. I have always loved providing compassionate and reliable care focused on helping seniors or people with disabilities with their daily needs. I'm well versed in administering medication, nursing care (took nursing school for two years, with clinical hours in both long term care and hospital), working with EMS helping people at their most vulnerable/critical condition, and providing quality personal care. I'm also certified in CPR-HCP & Standard First Aid, as well as have all my knowledge and skillset that I have learned during my experience in my primary care paramedic program (e.g. International Trauma & Life Support, Transfer Lifting & Repositioning, working with emergency services and working with other healthcare disciplinaries). If there is anything I have not had experience yet, I am always eager to learn and adapt to any of my clients' needs! I believe every client should get the best from their caregivers, and I will always strive to go above and beyond.
