Summary: Hi there my name is Taylor. I'm interviewing for an elderly caregiver job in Stockton, California. I aim to apply my abilities as an elderly caregiver. I am available as required. Services And Training: I am pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with the option: pre-clinical. I have not yet obtained my license or certification, but I hope that my at home situation, taking extra good care of my Mom can help me get started with a health related career that I can work my way up in over time. I take care of administering medication, I have dealt with dementia care, and help with mental heath such as Schizophrenia, anxiety, & depression. I am willing to travel, but hope not too far since there is a location in Stockton. I have had experience providing elderly care to my Mom who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2009, Hypophosphatasia in 2016, & was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in the middle of her brain this past year in 2018. I do a lot more than just help her get ready to shower, get dressed, prepare/cook meals, keep up amusing, yet random, conversations. I do her hair & makeup (which she absolutely loves), paint her nails, go grocery shopping for her, take her to/from Chemo Therapy/other hospital visits, & I run errands for her whenever she needs anything. I want to care for people like I do my Mom because I know how much of a positive impact I can put on my patients throughout my future career. I don’t mind whether I am a medical receptionist, medical assistant, medical scribe, doing a clinical trial, paid internship, a care giver, home aide, for now. I just want to get my foot in the door of a Health Science or medical related job that I can see myself working my way up in as I positively impact those around me.
