Elder Care in Evans, Colorado

Hello there! My name is Lori, while I am not an experienced and compassionate elder care provider located in Evans, Colorado I am full off empathy that has truffles wanting to get better myself. With a heart for helping others, I am currently seeking a live-out, part-time position as a companion and home care assistant for an elderly individual or family in need of support. I do not have extensive experience in hospice and respite care, however do understand the importance of providing personalized attention and companionship to those in their golden years. Being a single mom (0ne kid 26 with heart ssues and another kid of 15) I can assist with bathing, personal care, and providing a comforting presence to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for your loved one. Having children and my own health, I am very cognizant of knowing when to “catching flies with honey over vinegar” and am willing to “get er dun”. I always wanted to be involved with healthcare after my first child having numerous surgeries and knowing the care providers that were there for me. I worked 30 years at Aims Community College, mostly in the allied health, ems, police, and fire academies which shows my loyalty and realization of things in that background. I was an emergency building coordinator and while my CPR certification expired, I have many certifications from this added position to my normal job. My hourly rate is $20.00, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those I care for.
