I enjoy being around the elderly because they have so much rich history and wisdom that I enjoy the chance to learn from. My years as a teacher has allowed me to live and several states, work in different school system and develop a greater appreciation for people and the experiences that they have had to endure overtime. It is a wonderful feeling to be needed and believe that one can bring a bit to sunshine and empathy to someones life.
