I have worked in the field of Health and Human Services for around thirty years total. I am a motivated self starter I love people and the idea of helping them live a enriched, and meaningful life is rewarding. I am very professional in my duties and it’s important that I leave my clients with a positive memorable experience of care give. Being attractive is a valuable tool in getting to know who you are caring for. Having passion for your craft enables you to strive for excellence in care. Listen not only to what your client say but also listen to the unspoken to get a total picture of what the client needs. Positive communication encourages and uplift even when its not apparent. I am still with ADL, although I do have some weight restrictions. I have been passing, administering medication for as long as I’ve been taken care of people. I can assist with range of motion, cook, light house keeping. I’ve worked with Hospice clients, administered comfort care, proficient with operating the standard hoyer lift, and other assistive machinery. Computer literate, experience with faxing, scanning, texting, emailing. I work well with a team or independently.
