Overview: Hi, my name is Dan. I'm based in Rigaud, QC and am looking for a part-time engagement as a caregiver, ideally 10-20 hrs/wk. Services And Training: I worked as a hospital orderly from 1991-199..., while in school and a bit afterwards, helping geriatric clients in chronic and acute care environments. I learned the principles of moving patients safely in and out of beds, chairs and commodes, as well as the importance of proper preventative hygiene. I also gained experience helping patients at all stages of dementia. I am an educated, curious and patient conversationalist. A good listener, I take a sincere interest in people. I am a guitarist and singer, and have volunteered regularly at the Ste-Anne's Veteran Hospital as a performer since July 2017.
