I began 20 years ago working in a small town nursing home as a shower aide and received classroom and hands on training as a nurses aide. I took the training class again in 1997 at another nursing home and worked there until 2013. With my experience I have also been recommended to people for private care in their homes. The private care also required household duties, laundry, some yard work, preparing meals, as well as the personal care the individual required.
