Elder Care in Albany, Georgia

Hello guys and gals!... My name is Shyasia Jackson, I'm born and raised in New Brunswick NJ. I now live in Albany Ga. I became particularly too interested in this field at an very young age. I started out helping my care for my grandmother after she suffered a stoke. In which made her loose mobility on her right side. My mother struggled to care for all five of us ( my siblings) as well as my grandmother all while holding onvand maintaining a job. There were a lot of hard times but she seen us through it. So being that I am the oldest of all my siblings I had to step up and help my single mother as much as I could. I would bathe my grandmother, cook her meals, dress her and comb her hair. I'm grateful that with all that she has been through my grandmother still maintained a beautiful spirit. I began helping out from the age of 12 up until she passed five years later. I fell in love with helping people ever since. I never received any benefits outside from helping people in their time of need. When my grandmother passed it hurt me so bad because through out the time I spent with her while she was sick we have had grown very close to each other. That is what drove me to come to Georgia, my other grandmother became ill and I came down to help her. Thank God she has not left us yet and she is doing much better. I moved in with my grandmother here in Georgia, and I stayed just about a year. Now this particular grandmother is a little bit more stubborn than my deceased one is. She has this thing with the hospital and dealing with doctors. So I bath her clothes her and fed her now because she refused to go to the hospital I had to change her complete diet. I basically had her on a raw vegan diet I would prepare her special tea and she would have this tea three to four times a day. Now I'm no doctor and I don't know what her diagnosis was but after three short months of this diet and just praying hard for her to recover she started showing signs of recovery. Her voice was back for three months of not leaving the bed she started to move about the house not full of energy just yet but she said she no longer had pain and a year later she is even more healthier than me. When I tell you I can't get her to sit still for anything. But I say maybe six to eight months of detoxing she has all the energy in the world. But one day she asked me why don't I do this as a profession,and I myself yeah why don't you. I mean, I really love what I do. I love helping people in anyway I can this is my way of giving back. Our elders have been through so much and see so much you wouldn't be able to explain. I sometimes, more than others enjoy their company a lot better than some of the people in my age bracket. I would really like to help you, who is reading this, I would like to have taken away all of that pressure that's build up. You don't have to try to carry all that weight on your shoulders. I am very dependable and I enjoy what I do. So in all, I would say that I have at least five maybe six years of experience of caring for someone elses.
