About Me: Hey my name is Jackie. I'm searching for a companion carer job in Scottsdale, Arizona. I'm planning to apply my skill as a companion carer. Services And Training: For 8 years, I helped to care for a woman who had suffered a brain aneurysm and required 24 hour care. I was one of several caregivers. It involved medication management, bathing/dressing, transferring (electric hoyer lift), meal prep/feeding and most importantly, companionship and friendship. It was probably the most rewarding "job" I've ever had. During that time, I also found myself assisting her mother with many day-to-day activities, such as light housekeeping, running errands, and helping with her computer issues. I also have another elderly gentleman that I help periodically with various tasks around his home. In the past, I've helped elderly family members of friends of mine in various capacities. And I also have an amazing uncle who is 82 and has cerebral palsy and I have helped him over the years. I truly love being able to help others by making their lives easier in whatever fashion I'm able to! I am currently in the process of renewing my First Aid/CPR certification.
