Lindsay is my niece-in-law and has been assisting me for several years with the care of my 87 yr old mother who suffers from dementia and is homebound. Initially this involved help with administering medication but, as Mom’s condition has deteriorated, Lindsay’s contributions to her care have expanded. Lindsay now helps Mom a few hours a week with meals, hygiene, overall comfort and companionship. Important for me is that the time Lindsay spends with Mom provides a respite period for me to be able to run errands, attend to personal business or just have a few hours of down-time. And with Lindsay, I can relax knowing that Mom is in good, capable and caring hands. I look forward to her visits and know that Lindsay will arrive promptly and reliably and always bring a smile and joy with her that seems to permeate over to me and Mom. Observing Lindsay’s gentle, soothing and compassionate approach to Mom’s care has proven to me that she has a real passion and talent for caregiving. I highly recommend her as a devoted and responsible caregiver.
