Hi there my name is Tara. I completed my training with the City of Ottawa. I completed a number of courses on universal precautions, health and safety, first aid, elder and child care, educative development programming for children, personal aid for clients with physical and psychological limitations, courses on how to effectively deal and redirect tumultuous situations and emotions of clients, as well as dietary classes on effective, efficient and healthy meal planning. Whether working with children, adults or the elderly I always take a compassionate approach, even if it means a slower process of progression. With children I integrate as much educative programming as possible, such as stimulating educational games and activities. I share and offer to introduce to them nature therapy, which I find works wonders for the body, mind and spirit. I introduce the benefits and importance of proper exercise, eating habits and methods of maintaining good mental health. I am a very patient and genuine person. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I am a vegan, I do not smoke or consume alcohol. I speak English as well as French.
