Elder Care in Altamonte Springs, Florida

I am a 62 year old female retired from medical transcription for 32 years plus. I live with my elderly parents and help my mom to deal with the problems associated with my dad's dementia. For two years, I lived-in with an elderly lady with severe Alzheimers and took care of her until she became bedfast last November. I started caregiving in April 2015, with this sweet lady, as a Ministry, and met her through my church. I assisted her with bathing, preparing her meals, very light housework, taking her to the doctor, administering her medications, taking her to the hair salon, grocery shopping, and keeping her company. I am very flexible since I am retired. I am available for overnights also. I have been in nursing home Ministry since 2008. I currenting attend 2 nursing homes to bring Chapel Services. My passion is loving on elderly people and trying to enrich their lives with that love and care.
