Elder Care in Victoria, British Columbia

Although caring for adults is not where I have spent much of my life, I am willing to care for others. I have spent my life caring for children, and animals, and less time with adults. But some of my most enjoyable time has been spent sitting and talking with adults. I taught piano and my favorite students were the adult students. I would be interested in giving care to adults and learning more about whoever I find myself working with. I pride myself on being conscientious and a great communicator with all age groups. Looked after my mother pre and post surgery for several weeks. Did housekeeping, cooking, errands, and personal hygiene such as changing her catheter and bathing. Also looked after my husband post surgery on several occasions. Have worked with seniors in church groups on a social level and done several visits to long term and senior care facilities on a volunteer basis.
