Who I Am: Hi there my name is Shelly. I'm searching for an elderly support worker job in Acworth Georgia or nearby area close in proximity to Acworth. I'm hoping to utilize my abilities as an elderly support worker. I will work part or full-time as required. Services And Training: I am a kind compassionate affectionate responsible loving Mother of three young adults. I am an outgoing high energy yet patient individual. I interact very well with seniors. I love taking care of others from personal needs and companionship for seniors to include keeping the home clean neat and organized. Shopping and errands and grocery shopping and home cooked meals with attention to dietary needs and restrictions. Of course bathing and ADL’s. I’m a believer in nutrition and exercise and social activities help with so many diseases and mental and physical ailments however I do follow family and Physician orders! I’m honest and loyal and put my heart into everything I do as I truly treat and take care of others absolutely no different than I would want myself or my friends and family members taken care of. I have taken care of several Seniors full time over the years and I have First hand experience with Dementia and physical disabilities amongst other major health problems. I am a college graduate and during college I got certified as an EMT and then a Paramedic though both of those license have lapsed voluntarily I have been medically trained and I am very diligent in watching for medical changes and I do very well with emergencies therefore I don’t get frightened or paralyzed during an unexpected medical emergency which can be paralyzing for some. I believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect no matter what their mental capacity is. I have a lot of compassion with a huge heart which shows in the work I do. I have excellent references from all the families I have taken care of their senior parent. I am willing to do some overnight stays during the week or on the weekends however I am not looking for a live in position as I have a home that I love. I have my own transportation.
