I have extensive experience carrying for young and old individuals needing loving care. I am an advocate for living in one's own home and having a satisfactory life experience through your whole lifetime. I have provided care in a range of settings from the time I was in Grade 9 working in a Long term care facility, caring for aging elders, or a parent dying of cancer, or my own personal family members and professionally in Home Care settings. I love people and am a quiet introverted person. I love to cook and bake. I am able to do all light housekeeping and certainly do the daily tasks required in personal care though I would prefer to not iron or do heavy furniture lifting and or moving or heavy vacuuming. I tend to be a 'tidy as I go person' who loves lively conversation but also appreciates quiet times. I love reading and walks. I am quite capable of safely managing a household in the absence of the primary caregiver(s).
