I have been in the medical field for more than 10 years now, predominantly as a CNA in nursing homes, dementia units, and home health care. Services And Training: I have experience with post operation care, simple dressing, and support with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I worked as a certified nursing assistant for 6 years in a dementia unit in the state of NC. I am also currently a certified Medical Assistant and a certified phlebotomist in the state of Georgia. I have recently completed a nursing assistant training program here in the state of GA as well. I have a drivers license and can run errands or transport for social and leisure activities as requested. I hold a current CPR and first aid certification and I have training in a vast array of skills including, bathing, dressing, feeding, documenting behavior and any changes that occur physically such as a skin breakdown or pressure ulcers. I have experience working with paraplegics, quadriplegics, massive stroke survivors, and kids and teenagers with developmental disabilities such as autism and behavioral disorders.
