About Me: Nice to meet you! My name is Roshena. I am seeking a home care employment opportunity in Warrington. I'm a kind patient woman, with a flexible schedule. I understand everyone needs a little extra help now and then. And when someone needs more help who do you ask? I am reliable and a caring companion who will help as needed and treat your loved one like family. I have twins 13 year olds who are rather self sufficient, but need me to carpool to or from a couple activities. This year I resigned to provide home care for a family member who's 77 and fighting cancer a forth time. She's doing very well with her chemotherapeutic treatments, opening up blocks of time around her care, transportation and appointments. Description of Skills: Senior care starts each day helping getting moving for their day. From Daily transferring out of bed to a bathroom, medication reminders, assistance dressing. May include light housework, dishes, laundry and shopping. To transport for appointments, creating a schedule for activities and meal planning, with additional meal/snack preparation. I can plan outings like weekly shopping trips, going to get a hair cut, or nail salon. I am a trained Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist who takes pride in patient care. The last 3 years I used my Bachelors Degree working in the Finance and Accounting department processing medical claims. Previously I was the business Office Cooridnator for a Home Healthcare agency, I'm familiar with state regulations for Homecare. I also enjoy sharing my hobbies: gardening, walking/swimming and cooking together. I am even a crafter who would gladly setup fun activities: painting, weaving, sewing, wreath making, floral arrangements and jewelry making.
