Elder Care in Kansas City, Missouri

Elderly patients have always been a passion of mine since growing up and spending so much time with my grandma. I love interacting and spending quality time with them because they have so much to offer us. They are full of knowledge, wisdom, and can tell you some great stories....that's for sure. I am looking to give the very best caregiver "nursing" care to you or your loved one in the privacy of their own home. I have my bachelors degree in nursing, however due to personal reasons i am straying away from the hospitals and facilities where it is more "medically" involved with patients. Instead i am seeking a job that is more of a home like environment, and where care can be provided one on one to you or your loved one only (something that is never an option or remotely possible with the increasing nurse to patient ratios at hospitals/facilities). I have experience with several different "illnesses/diseases" such as dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, post surgical patients (knee or hip replacements), CHF, and the list could go on and on. I am able to provide/assist with personal hygiene, mobility assistance, medication management, reading, household functions/chores, transportation, meal prep, running errands, pet care, and most importantly....simply being by their side to keep them company as a companion.
