Elder Care in Lansdale, Pennsylvania

I am a 42 year woman who has an extensive resume in retail management, but my true passion is met through assisting people with whatever they may need in order for their lives to be more manageable and enjoyable in whatever way I am capable. I went to college for social work, I have two years experience working on a group home for mentally ill residents. At this job I worked full time as a house manager. I provided general daily care taking including making meals, cleaning their rooms, doing or helping with laundry, administering medications,( held license at time in state of Missouri), taking vital statistics, and any other needs they might need assistance with. I absolutely loved this job more than any other but ended up pursuing a different career path in retail for financial reasons. Now it is many years later and I very much want to help people enjoy every day he best they can. I also have experience working as s pharmacy technician in which I was responsible for filling medications of all 7 floors within a large university hospital. I was great at this job and did it very well while I was going to college. I am extremely compassionate, friendly outgoing and understanding. I have a drivers license, my own vehicle and insurance in the state of PA. I do not have a current can license, however, would love to be certified again but need employment first. I am great with people and love the feeling of helping someone have a better day and a happier life.
