 Experience following health care plan, observing and reporting on substantial findings and changes in patient behavior to the appropriate registered member of the healthcare team  Experience assisting with ambulation, positioning and transferring using mechanical lifts such as a Hoyer lift as well as assisting residents and patients with personal care and hygiene and activities of daily living  Vast experience performing sitter duty or patient watch for confused patients in clinical care settings  Excellent customer service skills when dealing with patients, colleagues, volunteers and other members of the community and public  Demonstrated pattern of good attendance  Trained in WHMIS, First Aid/CPR , Gentle Persuasive Approach in Dementia and Alzheimer’s  Able to work at a variety of settings and adapt to different situations
