Introducing to the St. Cloud Area The Dementia Whisper New option when it comes to caring for a loved one with Alzheimers or other Dementias. Allow me to introduce myself, I live locally in the St. Cloud area and have been working with individuals with Alzheimer's or other dementias for 15 plus years. I understand the trials of being a caregiver, and am here to help. In my years of experience I have ran an assisted living memory care unit, educated 150 staff of a local senior living facility on Alzheimers and other Dementias. I am also a certified Validation Worker, and taught the Validation Techniques to staff as well as the families I have worked with. I have lead educational and support groups for families with a loved one diagnosed with a dementia for five years. I am a trained support group coordinator for the St. Cloud Alzheimer's Association and have been involved with the Walk to end Alzheimer's as well as, a volunteer support group facilitator for The St. Cloud Memory Club, for two years. My services include me coming into your home to allow for a couple hours of respite for the caregiver. Go to the grocery store or get your other errands done!
