Description: Hello my name is MERCEDITA E.CANO. I am hoping to find an elderly care provider jobs in either Mississauga, Hamilton, and Brampton, Ontario. I am currently in Niagara Falls, Ontario; but willing to relocate anytime. A Filipino International Personal Support worker student from Niagara College of winter 2018 Fall 2018. I had undergone my clinical placement already which qualifies me and prepare me to work with clients extensively, but I have intensive experience acquired over the years as a Medical technologist and caregiving experience to my family. Have a very keen sense of humor, respectful, optimistic, able to communicate clearly and effectively. I love cooking and listening to music greatly as to reading. My aim is to contribute my experiences as a Personal Support worker and as an elderly care provider. Services And Training: Provide optimal support and can work with individuals with cognitive impairment and mental dissabilities. Assists with caregiver relief such as activities of daily living and personal hygiene, household management duties and skills to support clients at their homes that may include assistance with their extra curricular activities, light cleaning, meal preparation and laundry. Supports client’s independence with regards to medications. Completed Training: CPR, GPA, Feeding Certification, IPAC, Virtual Dementia Training,and other training.
