I’m in search for an elderly or disabled person who requires someone to help or manage their daily needs. I am known for my loyalty, compassion, understanding, and patience. Nursing has controlled my passions for over 40 years. I own my own home and very dependable transportation. I am experienced in many different medical scenarios to include terminal illness, rehabilitation, and ongoing illnesses. I have cared for women, men, young adults and a few children. Listed below are what I have experience in but not limited to along with other duties I consider part of caring for the whole person. Cancer Gastric feeding tubes Alzheimer's Dementia Parkinson's Blind Wound care Diabetes Adhering to schedules for physical therapy and other ongoing therapy treatments Pet care House cleaning Laundry Errands Grocery shopping Cooking ( I'm a great cook) In reality anything that concerns keeping their lifestyle, health, and routine normal and safety in the forefront and what they are accustom to is my goal. I believe in treating a person with respect and dignity. I also believe there is a solution to every problem and work diligently to provide the best outcome. My own mama passed away 30 years ago with brain cancer and i learned a lot about during that time from her. She asked me on day early on what would I want of hers. She was talking about material things, but I had something a little more in depth in mind. I told her I wanted her patience and she quickly responded that it would take perseverance on my part. I have persevered marriage, with a 30 year military career infantryman, traveled all over the world in support, raised two children who gave me a lot to persevere through, and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy caring for people and giving them the support they need to live and enjoy a full life.
