Elder care Job in Toronto, Ontario

Looking for a kind and responsible senior caregiver to help our recently widowed mother, 93, maintain her quality of life in her own home. This is a live-in position. Our mom has wonderful care during the day and now we need the peace of mind to have someone stay/sleep overnight and assist in evening and morning routine. Responsibilities include: personal care, light housekeeping, some meal preparation and laundry.
Ideal candidate would be: quiet, considerate, with good reading, listening and communications skills. Our mother is a lovely person, who is in frail, but overall good mental and physical health, with short-term memory issues. She enjoys reading, current events, good conversation and gardening. Important to have someone who is pleasant company.
