Elder Care Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello we are looking for a senior caregiver for our mother who is in her late seventies. My mother has recently been released from hospital and now has become quite weak and needs someone with her at all times. She is able to walk with a walker but sometimes needs help getting up from a chair. She is able to get to the bathroom on her own but sometimes has moments of bowel incontinence. We are looking for a senior caregiver for 30 to 40 hours a week. Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation will be required. Daily walks as well as showering and daily sitz baths. Cleanliness is very important as my mothers immune system has been compromised due to her illness. She will also need help with dressing and daily personal care. My mother is a very loving and social woman who was very active in the community up until recently. Looking for a confident, energetic, reliable, punctual, English speaking full time senior caregiver who can start immediately. She can walk with the aid of a walker but sometimes has trouble getting up from a chair and would need to be assisted. She needs to go for walks, someone to prepare light meals and someone who could do light house cleaning and laundry. She needs help dressing and occasionally has incontinent moments. My mother also has a very friendly 4kg little dog which is only with her occasionally now.
