Elder Care Job in Noblesville, Indiana

We are looking for someone to spend 4-7 hours with my mom most Sundays and also most major holidays. We will also need someone to spend a week living with mom during sometime during end of March and first week in April 2018). Mom has a full time live-in caregiver who has Sundays and holidays off. She is also going on vacation in the spring. We might be able to use help on an occasional week day, but that would be infrequent. Mom is VERY attached to her caregiver, but does not understand that she needs help. She thinks her caregiver was lonely so when my dad passed away a year ago, she just moved in so the two widows could be friends and keep each other company. Mom lives in the country approximately ten miles from Noblesville. She has dementia/brain damage from a serious fall and stroke, but can carry on a conversation and makes sense much of the time. She walks with a cane and has trouble with balance. She is incontinent, but is able to take herself to the toilet, though sometimes has accidents and needs assistance cleaning up. She would need someone to make lunch for her and basically just be there to keep her safe. She likes to watch programs or movies (usually in bed), or sleep. She can be convinced to take short walks or sit outside on a nice day. She may be difficult at first, but once she establishes a friendship she is normally pleasant. We need a consistent caregiver as change is not easy for mom. My sister and I have been trying to bring her to our homes on Sundays and Holidays, but she is very unhappy and tries to walk home every time. My sister and I both live nearby and could be there within minutes in case of a problem or an emergency. We need to find someone quickly.
