Elder Care Job in San Francisco, California

94 year old grandpa Herb is flying in from Chicago, staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in San Francisco. Grandpa is ambulatory. He normally has a walker but he cannot stand for any period of time so we need help so that his family members do not have to worry about him getting around from hotel to wedding and back again. We are renting a wheelchair for him that needs to be pushed. We need a carer to arrive at the hotel at 3.30pm,make sure he is dressed for the wedding at 4.30pm we have ordered a car to pick Herb and you up at the hotel to go the San Francisco Ferry Building for pre wedding ceremony family photos. the Ferry Building has an ADA accessible elevator ot the event site on second floor of the Ferry Building You will assist Herb from the car to the spot where family photos take place, then you will move him to the ceremony area. Ceremony begins at 6.30pm-7pm After ceremony you will move him to the cocktail hour on same floor in the Ferry Building. He may be ok to walk to a seat or he may need to be moved in wheelchair If he is up to staying for dinner we would have you move him to the dinner seating area and then be on hand until he is ready to go back to the hotel. not sure how late this will be At the latest the event runs to 12midnight but we doubt he would stay until the end Then take him back in pre arranged car to the Ritz Carlton, make sure he gets back to his room
