Elder Care in Charlotte, North Carolina

I have worked in the healthcare field for over forty years the majority of these years with the elderly in Long Term Facilities. I continue to enjoy caring for the elderly in my present part-time position. I have a great outlook on life as we know it. I am well read. I have traveled to Europe in my younger years thoroughly enjoyed that adventure. I have lived in Alaska, Canada and Hawaii while married to my military husband. I have one grown son a daughter-in-law and two absolutely beautiful grandsons. I attend Saint John's Episcopal church here in town on Carmel road. I belong to the International Nurses Association and the Christian Nurses Fellowship. I am skilled in all personal care procedures. I feel at this time I do well in a private duty environment with one client. I enjoy cooking and talking to the client about good nutrition and hydrational needs. I like to take the client out for walks or rides in the car. I enjoy working with my client doing creative activities ie. art, sewing etc. Making the client feel that their day has been productive and that they feel good about what they've accomplished is my goal.
