Psws cannot provide nursing care, they are not nurses and it is illegal for them to do so, they can be prosecuted if they misled the public and did. Safeguarding the public is my role as a nurse. Previous experience includes, rehabilitation nursing, acute medical and surgical nursing care, palliative home care and hospices, some critical care, diabetic clinic nursing, long term care homes, and home visit nursing.
