Nice to meet you! I just graduated Brock University with a Recreation and Leisure bachelors degree and an expertise in Therapeutic Recreation. Currently, I am working in long term care as a Recreation Therapist, and home care with a private client. I am looking to provide my expertise to families who are looking for a care companion for their loved one. What i've learned while working in long term care is that there are so many families that want their loved one to have more social connection and leisurely engagement. This is why i've started offering my time to those who need a companion. Some services I provide are, Light cleaning Meal preparation Shopping (Groceries, clothing, etc) Outings (Walks/strolls, out to the mall, Lunch, Coffee, Museums etc) Activities (Board games, cards, painting etc) I am experienced in Montessori Dementiability, Gentle persuasive approach certified, CPR. I have 6 years of experience with individuals who have Alzheimer and Dementia. I currently work part time in long term care and with another private client, but I would be available for some days, evenings, and certain weekends.
