Hello! I'm Levi, a certified Resident Care Worker with experience in community care and nursing care in PEI. As a care provider, I strive to maintain and improve the quality of the person in care through various means of caregiving. I recognize that the person in care is a unique individual and provide them dignity, independence, privacy, preference, and safety. I always prioritize the person in care and respect family in the decision making of cares whenever possible. I work within the scope of practice of the job description. Description of Skills: - Dispense medications as directed and ensure medications are secured appropriately - Prepare, serve, assist, and clean up meals - Cleaning duties including: vacuuming and moping, sanitizing and dusting surfaces, changing linens and garbage - Assist with ADLs and promote DIPPS - Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and elimination (i.e. catheder care, bed pan, etc.) - Report any changes in physical or mental status - Apply topical creams and ointments - Assist with transfers, walking, lifts, and repositioning - Assist with meals I have certification in TLR, GPA Basics, CPR-C, and Safe Food Handling.
