Hi there my name is Donna. I love working with seniors and look forward to caring for your loved ones. Excited to talk to you soon. I have a CEGEP diploma in Social Sciences, as well as another, in Special Care Counseling (among others) as well as a vast array of work experience. I have been employed as both a child and youth care worker, and supervisor while working with \key Assets. I have also been employed as an Early Childhood Educator within a private, English-Immersion, elementary school. Additionally I have worked as a youth counselor, as well as the coordinator of a drop-in youth center. I have a great deal of experience working with the elderly, individuals with intellectual impairments, as well as physical. I have previously worked within a psychiatric hospital. I am familiar with the many aspects of this type of position, such as daily life, community integration, financial management, self care, etc. I am a dedicated employee, and have proven to display an excellent rapport with both children and adults; as well as other types of clientele. I am fluent in both English and French. I am familiar with various types of mental illness and mental impairments. I am trained – and familiar- to handle crisis situations.
