Elder Care in Russell, Ontario

I am double vaccinated and during the pandemic till now have remained isolated helping assist my senior parents. I returned back to the Ottawa area in 2019 and now reside in Russell. I would like to go back to what I was doing in the private industry for reasons due to the pandemic. I was happiest working more in this area, helping of families and seniors make life/home work or even give that little assistance you need to stay in your home. --... I worked in St. Catharines for 2 years as a psw for Bayshore Home Healthcare. Here I worked with many clients with different personal issues. Here I learned to work with more transfer equipment depending on the client, from ms to paraplegic. I also worked with many others with different issues. During this time I also worked in several senior living residences. Since --... I worked part time for a private seniors convent in Ottawa. I raised our 6 children as a stay at home Mom. I also go into other homes for a few afternoons bi monthly to help out. I have also worked as a PSW but do not have any certificates just experience. I do have my police check certificate .. somewhere sorry it has been years since someone asked for it as i usually accept jobs from personal recommendations. At the convent my main job was to cook their noon hour dinner meal along with baking, gardening, general household tasks outside of cleaning, groceries, shopping, driving for assorted reasons using a vehicle supplied by them, helping one of their seniors with personal tasks and so much more. i worked Mon. to Fri. 8:30-12noon. My other clients are for general household assistance like vacuuming, clean bathrooms, wash floors and other seasonal odds and ends. I have also assisted in many many other random household issues ex: packing household for moving,selling,staging etc. General compassionate care and assistance for the elderly.
