Employer: Ronald Pancer and Marlene Pancer Employers’ address: 3181 Bayview Avenue, Suite 605, North York, ON, M2K 2Y2 Work Location:same as above Type of Employment:Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Feed or assist in feeding • Shop for food and household supplies • Provide personal care • Provide companionship • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene • Launder clothing and household linens • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk • Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder) • Assist clients in water (i.e. pool) • Administer medications • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Take client to doctor’s appointments • Be in constant communication with the employer’s daughter due to the fact that the person receiving care is not able to talk. Requirements: -Education: Some secondary school is required -Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver or personal care attendant is required -The candidate must speak English because Ronald Pancer cannot speak due to a stroke. Salary: $15.72 to $17.72hourly, 40 Hours per week Benefits:2 paid sick days provided per year, bonuses and paid time off as per our discretion Important Information: - The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of an 81-year old man with a disability. He has had a stroke and heart attack and needs his medications monitored. - Work schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturdays and Sundays off..... unpaid 30-minute break and 2 unpaid healthy breaks of 15 minutes will be provided. - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
