Employer: William Robert Davidson Employers’ address: 38409 Range Road 244 RR 1, Clive, AB, T0C 0Y0 Work Location: same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Provide personal care • Mend clothing and linens • Launder clothing and household linens • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Plan and cook low-salted menus • Provide companionship • Administer personal care • Shop for food and household supplies • Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder) • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk • Prepare and administer medications • Take blood pressure everyday • Monitor weight every morning • Prepare and serve nutritious meals • Accompany to all doctor’s appointments Requirements: -Education: Some secondary school is required -Experience: Experience is an asset -First Aid Certificate is an asset Salary: $16.10 to $18.10 hourly, 40 Hours per week Important Information: - The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of an 82-year old man who turns 83 in November. The patient has congestive heart failure, abdominal aneurysm and dementia. - Flexibility on schedule is required. Shifts: 8:00am to 4:00pm from Monday to Friday. - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
