Hunter Employers’ address: 57 Delamere Ave. Stratford On N5A 4Z6 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Provide personal care, Mend clothing and linens, Launder clothing and household linens, Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Plan therapeutic diets and menus, Provide companionship, Administer bedside and personal care, Shop for food and household supplies, Change non-sterile dressings, Feed or assist in feeding, Collect specimens, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Administer medications, Prepare and serve nutritious meals Requirements: -Education: Completion of high school is required -Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver or personal care attendant is required - Physically able to perform the job duties Important Information: The personal care attendant will be responsible for the care of a 75 year old woman with Lewy bodies. She is hooked up to a catheter and a vacuum suction pump. She can neither feed herself nor dress herself. Any mobility from her bed has to be in a wheel chair. Salary: $14.95 to $16.00 hourly, 40-44 Hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Position requires flexibility in scheduling; including evening or weekend hours as needed.
