About Me: Hi! My name is Angela, and I am an 8yr resident of New Bern, NC. During highschool I had the pleasure of working with children with special needs, and throughout my adulthood I have worked with various seniors who need assistance. I resigned from my full-time job 2yrs ago to care for my stepfather who was in the ending stage of Dementia. This experience is what led my heart to working towards a career in Caregiving. I am presently working for a local Caregiving company and I just finished the CNA program at Craven Community College with an A. My state exam is Sept. 14. I would like to gain additional hours and provide part-time care in New Bern or the surrounding area. My goal is to assist the elderly in any way I can, to increase their quality of life. Services And Training: CNA program completed & State Exam is Sept. 14 I am able to provide bed baths or shower, assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, changing, catheter care, transfers, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, use of Hoyer Lift if required, feeding, meal preparation, light housework, transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, assistance with scheduling & maintaining appointments.
