To Whom This May Concern: My name is Cynthia T-Hayes. I am a resident of Fairfield, CA. I am very interested in providing quality care for the elderly, who requires assistance. After reading your post, I believe that I have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to assist you with providing quality care. Most importantly, my passion is providing assistance to Elderlies, who requires a helping hand, and quality care. Also, this is near and dear to my heart, because my soon to be 89 year old Dad is suffering with Dementia and Alzheimer's. My parents live in Camden, Arkansas. During January 2016, I went back to Arkansas and attended UAMS, Schmieding Home Caregiver Training - South Arkansas Center on Aging - El Dorado, AR. I am certified in Geriatric Home Caregiver, which consists of In-Home Assistance, Alzheimer's and Dementia, and Home Care Assistant. I completed all three courses on March 1, 2016. My certificate will be provided to you during my interview. My personal background is as follows: I am married. I am a retiree from the United States Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service, with 33 year of federal government experience. I obtained a B.S. Degree in Accounting in 1981 from Grambling State University, Grambling, LA. After serving our country as a civil servant for 33 years; I decided to pursue my passion for learning how to provide quality elderly care when I heard about the caregiving training in El Dorado, AR, which is 30 minutes from where my parents live. This also allowed me to spend quality time with my parents, and assist my Mom with my Dad, while I was there from January through April 30, 2016. I have always had a special interest in spending quality time with elderly, and my motto is - if the sky has turned with dark clouds lingering over their heads, what can I do to turn the sky blue again? I believe if I can lead a helping hand while here as a resident of California, then someone will lend a helping hand to my Mom as she continues to care for my Dad in Arkansas.
