Elder Care in Spring Valley, California

Ms Ivy Jackson has provided care giving services since October 2018 to my 51 year son who suffers severe left side mobility problems from a major stroke he suffered over 5 years ago. She provides these services five mornings a week. She is very reliable, arriving on time and cheerfully provides the help he needs. This includes helping him arise and prepare for his day, She ensures he faithfully performs recommended exercises each day. she assists him with dressing, bathing and using the toilet when necessary. She prepares his morning meal as he desires giving him good variety in accordance with his recommended diet. In addition she does his laundry and cleans his room and relaxing area. Immediately after starting work for him they developed a good relationship and he looks forward to her daily visits. In spite of his large size (6'4", 280 lb.) she easily provides all support and assistance he requires. Ivy is attentive and alert to detect and mood swings or treatment needs that occur. While John does not have any memory/dimentia issues, I am confident Ms Jackson would be able to deal with such conditions. Ivy is totally reliable and trustworthy. On the rare occasions when she might be late or need a day off, she give timely notification so plans can be adjusted. I highly recommend her for any care giving position she may apply for. We feel fortunate to have her assisting our son.
