Everyone has told me my whole life that they worried about me, because I have such a big heart and that I'm too giving and caring for this harsh world. Well... I think that makes me perfect to be a caregiver to the elderly. :-) I enjoy doing the things that might seem little, but bring joy, distraction from less pleasant things in life, help regain a sense of normalcy and basically, just make such a positive difference in ones life. I’m good at finding things that can change the whole mental state and outlook of a person without going beyond any physical or mental limitations. Even physical pain can be lessened with regular, appropriate distractions and the smallest of hobbies or activities can do wonders to help alleviate depression. I have a lot of experience with the elderly, physical and mental health issues in people of all ages and most importantly, I’m passionate and I sincerely care, so caring for your loved ones won’t ever be just a job for me. I am a 42 year old woman who has years of experience caring for the elderly citizens of our society. I feel that seniors are all too often vulnerable and in a position that allows caregivers to do the minimum for them and sometimes not even that. I am a very loving person, who is very passionate about protecting and caring for the members of our society who may need a little more care and someone to step up and provide the care every senior deserves.
