Hi, my name is Kelley and I truly love caring for the elderly! For the past three years, I have found great fulfillment in caring for those with mild to advanced dementia in an assisted living community’s memory care unit. This advancing disease is painful for the families and my hope is that the thorough and gentle care I give to each resident, somehow eases their pain. I pay attention to details...feet, nails, hair and cleanliness brings feelings of worth and dignity. Emotional support such as listening and hugs is a priority for me as I care for your loved one. I also believe it is very important to keep their minds and interests active, as too much down or alone time can lead to depression. In addition, anything I can do to make their home a clean and safe environment gets done during their rest time. Note: I am both a Certified HHA, as well as CPR Certified.
