Elder Care Job in Sherwood Park, Alberta

Job Overview: We are looking for an energetic elder companion in Sherwood Park, Alberta to provide consistent in-home care and support for our father. We hope to find a friendly, reliable person who has availability for up to 20 hours per week - schedule can be flexible but we would like to establish a consistent plan. Dad had a stroke last year and struggles with communication and mobility but loves to play crib, cards and discuss sports. Services And Training: Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in or willingness to learn about aphasia. Work will include companionship, recreational and physical activites, transportation, some simple meal prep, respite and limited personal care. Some related training preferred.
