Elder Care in St. Catharines, Ontario

Hello my name is Emily! I am currently looking for a caregiving job in the Niagara region but am willing to travel further for the right fit. My previous work experience has been mostly with children. I have also volunteered in hospice. More recently, I have been working in a senior independent living facility. I have absolutely loved it and really enjoy working with the residents and my coworkers. I've been working a strictly night shift schedule for the past 6 months and I'm looking to move away from that into a day position. I love to work with people and am pretty adaptable to different situations and personalities. Even the "grumpy" residents seem to like me! I would prefer a full time position and although I'm fully trained to do care/medications I would also like a bit of a training period (even just a shift or two) to get comfortable with and know the job routine. I am CPR/First Aid certified, up to date on vaccinations and received a clear TB skin test. I also have my G class drivers license and a vehicle that is fully insured.
